SXSW adds fifth screening of buzz flick “Lemon”

Janicza Bravo’s “Lemon” has ended up being one of SXSW’s buzzier films so it’s not surprising that an extra (fifth!) screening as been added — 7:15 p.m., March 15 (Wednesday), Alamo Ritz 1.

You might have seen Bravo’s excellent short film “Woman in Deep” at last year’s SXSW. (She also directed the stunning “Juneteenth” episode of “Atlanta.”) In this feature, Brett Gelman (aka Bravo’s husband and co-writer) stars as Isaac Lachmann, a 40-year-old whose life is coming apart at the seams. The film also screens 6:30 p.m. March 16, Alamo South.
