“The Invitation” poses an intriguing question: Is Will (Logan Marshall-Green), a grieving father who lost a child, paranoid? Or is he justified in being suspicious when he receives an invitation to a dinner party from his ex-wife Eden (Tammy Blanchard) and her new husband David (Michiel Huisman)?

It’s been two years since Will has seen his former wife, and he’s trying to move on with his life. He has a new romantic interest, Kira (Emayatzy Corinealdi), and he’s hoping that the dinner is just an attempt to mend fences. But the hosts are acting strange, and there are more guests than Will expected, including a strange man Will has never met, Pruitt (John Carroll Lynch).
