The Oscars are really white again. No nomination for Idris Elba of “Beasts of No Nation.” No best pic nom for “Straight Outta Compton.”

But Mexico continues its running streak with Inarittu getting a nom for best director. Could he repeat after winning for “Birdman” last year?
