Paramount hosts horror movie marathon

The Paramount Theatre is hosting a horror movie marathon on Saturday and Sunday, with the 1930s classics as “Frankenstein,” “The Mummy” and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” as well as “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” “House on Haunted Hill,” Horror of Dracula,” “Psycho,” “The Birds” and “Alien.”

You can buy tickets for a single movie for get a special badge that will let you see all of them.

Here’s the schedule:

Saturday, Oct. 24: “The Mummy,” 1 p.m.; “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” 2:35 p.m.; “House on Haunted Hill,” 4:15 p.m.; “The Birds,” 5:45 p.m.; “Psycho,” 8 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 25: “Frankenstein,” 1 p.m.; “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” 2:30 p.m.; “Horror of Dracula,” 4:25 p.m.; “Alien,” 6:05 p.m.

Admission for single screenings is $11 for adults, $6 for kids 12 and under, and $7 for Film Fans. Badges for all movies are $40 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under. To buy tickets go to http://www.austintheatre.org, or call 512-474-1221.
