Indiewire reported Monday afternoon that Austin filmmaker Richard Linklater “spiritual sequel” to “Dazed and Confused”  — which, at various points, has been called “That’s What I’m Talking About,” and “Everybody Wants Some” (the latter after the Van Halen song) — has been pushed from fall 2015 to April 15, 2016.

Distributor Paramount now says the movie is back to being untitled.

The movie, about college baseball players in the 1980s and stars Blake Jenner, Ryan Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin and Wyatt Russell, is reportedly in the test-screening phase.

Filmed in Austin, based somewhat on Linklater’s time as a college player… surely this is a mortal lock for South By Southwest screening

As has been previously reported. the Christmas episode of the upcoming 27th season of “The Simpsons” will be a parody of Austin filmmaker Richard Linklater’s “Boyhood” called “Barthood.”

Linklater is also working on an adaptation of Maria Semple’s 2012 epistolary novel  “Where’d You Go Bernadette?”
